Our Story

In 2004, a passionate group of professionals and volunteers united with a mission to transform the lives of elderly and disabled seniors. Their aim was simple and profound: to help seniors rediscover their talents, build social connections, and access vital community resources, empowering them to lead vibrant and fulfilling lives.

By 2009, their dedicated efforts resulted in the founding of DLMC Inc. in Hawaii, now recognized as Kama'aina Healthcare Services (KHS). With a focus on compassionate in-home assisted living and personalized healthcare, KHS has earned a reputation for empathy and excellence.

Our mission is to deliver compassionate, person-centered assisted living and senior healthcare services guided by our warm and dedicated hearts. We wholeheartedly specialize in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) while also providing tailored care for our cherished elderly kupuna. Through our diverse programs and heartfelt community outreach, we strive to uplift and support the residents of Hawai‘i, ensuring that each person receives the care, respect, and love they truly deserve.
